Simple and effective!

Check all figure with a 'spotlight'. At each figure, shine to the left, the right, upwards and downwards. Look for a cells in another ninesome in wich the figure at hand must occur, because all other cells are forbidden terrain for this figure.

When the spotlights do not shine on exactly one cell in a ninesome, then the figure at hand belongs there!
